After avoidance comes Financial Uncertainty

Fast forward a couple of months and John had managed to avoid the spotlight. His numbers had been green. He didn’t understand why, but that wasn’t important. They were green and that’s all that mattered.

But this month his numbers are red.

John doesn’t know why his area costs are higher than budget. He doesn’t see the connection between the actions of his team and the numbers.

I describe this as Financial Uncertainty.

You want to understand what’s behind the numbers. But you don’t know what questions to ask.
